To visit/see someone in spring

Hello everyone,

Is it okay to say: "We had a great time, and I can't wait to visit/see them again in spring"? I recall being told that there was something wrong with the "in spring" part of the sentence. In spring is not very specific, but I don't know if that's the problem.

Thank you.

Here is an American who agrees with Clive. I don't dare try to explain it. It just sounds right, and the other sounds wrong. Sometimes that's all we have to go on in English.
