To use an article or not

Hi,

I have just this question on a chat and they told me that this is correct:

I need to catch flight 456.

I was wondering what is correct:

I need to cach a flight 456 or I need to catch the flight 456.

I di not know it can be without article.

Please help me

You do not use an article with "flight 456."

I have to catch my flight. I have a flight early in the morning. I'm on flight 345. When you use the number, it becomes almost a type of proper noun and does not require an article.
