'to upstairs' possible?

Hi,

I think normally we use the word 'upstairs' as an adverb and don't attach any word extra with it. Can we use the phrase 'to upstairs' (with the preposition 'to')?

Please take this appliance to upstairs (only 'upstairs')?.

Only the adverb ( upstairs ) is usual. Take it upstairs. Sometimes it appears as an adjective: Take it to the upstairs maid.
