To unbear

Hi,

Is the following sentence correct?

After has borne the world for ages upon his shoulders, Atlas finally is deciding "to unbear" himself from that burden.

Thanks, A.L.

This is the sort of question to which one would answer "incorrect", only to then find that the phrase was written by some famous writer. However, the word "unbear" is essentially unknown in ordinary modern English, and I would not advocate using it. I suppose that "After has borne" should read "After he has borne".
