To think small

Can you please explain what does it mean - to think small?

so this is what we call the "Nano tainer" which is a very small tube that's designed to replace the big vials that you take out of your arm when you draw blood traditionally with a tiny drop that can come from a finger.

(Question) Okay so what does this mean for the traditional way we do diagnosis? and how would it up- end the paradigm because I know you don't want to think small.
