Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum so I hope my topic belongs here, if not I apologize for the mess.
My girlfriend is writing lyrics for her new song and she needs help with this sentence:
I'm falling down on the open sea.
That's the original now, but neither of us is sure if it should be 'into the open sea' or maybe 'in the open sea'. If you have any other propositions, we would love to hear them, too.
Thank you so much for any help,
Alice

I think 'into' sounds much more reasonable.
