To the Harm of Us All

"More than that, however, it takes journalism's eye off the big part of the game to the harm of us all"

Hi

In this sentence, does 'to the harm of us' mean that the action harms us all?

To me, 'to the harm of us all' doesn't sound very natural to me.
I am not sure whether is kind of structure is used often in English or not.
If is an often used structure, can you provide me with similar examples?

Thanks, Samuere

Thank you, Englishmaven for editing my question.

If it were not for you, I would not have noticed all the flaws in my writing which could have chased other readers away.

I sincerely thank you for your contribution.
