To Taste

Is "to taste" an idiomatic expression such that I don't need "the", "my", "your", "his", "her", etc.... in these:

"The steak was cooked to taste"
"The steak was fried to taste"
"The steak was seasoned to taste"
?

'To taste' is an idiom, but you'll need the pronoun if you wish to specify to whose taste it is prepared.
