Can I say,

(a) She puts some salt and a dash of pepper for taste.

(b) She puts some salt and a dash of pepper to taste the scrambled eggs.

(c) She puts some salt and a dash of pepper to taste better / well.

(d) She puts some salt and a dash of pepper to taste / to taste it.

(e) She puts a little salt to give it some taste.

You can say:

"She puts some salt and a dash of pepper to taste." (means you add enough until it tastes to your liking, add enough to suit you)

or (e) is also correct. The rest are strange...
