Grammar

To swap with

Hi all,

Is the following sentence grammatical?

If you want your second order delivered sooner, we can swap the delivery date with your first order.

Thanks!

It is grammatical but not very logical; dates cannot really be 'swapped' without causing some wonderment. Simply tell them when you can ship each order: If you want your second order delivered sooner, we can ship it on [date] and ship your first order on [date].

The term shipping originally referred to transport by sea, but is extended in American English to refer to transport by land or air (International English: "carriage") as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freight_transport

Outside that, the words send and deliver are used.
