Vocabulary

to stream something

Hello,
Is it okay to say: "The championship finals will be streamed on about ten web sites"? In my experience, it is more common to say "You can watch a live stream of the finals on..." or simply "You can watch the finals online". Does "stream" work here? I don't think that's narrow casting, because the game is not going to be televised.

Thank you
