Vocabulary

to step/come/go somewhere

Hello,
I have a very simple question for you today. Emotion: smile What in your opinion would be the difference between:
- I'm really hot. I think I'll go out/step out(side).
- Jack, why don't you come in/step in?

I think I am more likely to use "come and go", I don't know why. Step would imply "a shorter distance" to me. That's probably not even true. Emotion: smile
