Hi, Is there any difference in meaning between setting afire-setting ablaze- setting something on fire- setting aflame and setting alight ?

Yes, the difference relates to size and importance.
But in everyday English, rather than these phrases, we'd say:
He lit a match.
He set fire to a house.
