To see/seeing

I wonder if there is subtle difference between "1" and "2".

1. It was good to see you.

2. It was good seeing you.

The meaning is exactly the same. Primarily "was" frames it in the past, so it doesn't matter whether it is using "to see" or "seeing" as both are different tenses of the same verb. "

The meaning is exactly the same. Primarily "was" frames it in the past, so it doesn't matter whether it is using "to see" or "seeing" as both are different tenses of the same verb. The important focus was "It was good..."

Additionally, there are a number of other versions with slightly different words, than have the same or similar meaning:

"It was good catching
