Vocabulary

To "relocate" the map?

Relocation means you try to move to new house or so.

But I'm not sure if we can use "relocate" in terms of navigation?

As in to relocate a destination after the one we located was gone missing. So, relocate it again, find it again.

Ok let's put it this way:

A subordinate directing a ship was on a radar screen. He then located an island on which shipments will be unloaded. Shortly afterwards, by the time he got back to the radar from a restroom, the located spot was missing. At the same time, the subordinate's captain appeared and saw everything. So the captain said this:

"Relocate it now!"
"Search it no

That's just fine.
