To rate or evaluate a course requirement?

Hi!

I create a course evaluation for students. I want to ask a question about course requirements (if students thought the requirements were reasonable, or too high or too low, etc).

in informal speech I'd say something like

"what did you think of the course requirements? Were they too high? Too low?"

But how to ask that in a formal way, and in one sentence? There will be a multiple-choice.

"How do you rate the requirements?" a)too low, b)low,...

Rate or estimate, deem, evaluate?

Thanks!
