To put energy into something

Hi there,

today I wanted to say as follows:

"We spent many energies into the preparation of the stand" but then I had a look at the dictionary and realized that maybe, it would be more appropriate this "We put much energy into the preparation of the stand" am I right??Please confirm or advise.

Thank you!!

Perchance I can embellish the abovemention'd. 'We endeavour'd to put numberless efforts into the preparation'. ' Howbeit the bulk of the dictionaries labels the noun 'striving' uncountable, I myself am of the opinion that it may be countable when the need arises.

Or as an alternative I should say: 'We shall essay to spend myriad strivings into our preparation.' If you are a native speaker, be so kind to give me a normal understandable answer. Usually I uderstand all the persons who help me. Thanks!

Ah, I wist not that you are on intermediate level. It transpires there is a wide chasm betwixt our vocabulary. What you deem abnormal may be normal unto native speakers. Mine apologies if I have startled you with mine Elizabethan English which is forsooth my natural way of speaking English.
In verity, I am not genuinely a native speaker but I am told that I obliviously surpass most of those wh

I have never seen many of the words you have written so that is way I did not think you are a native speaker. Why don´t you write like other people there?!

Btw, I hope some of the nice people here will help me.

Thanks an

To candidly confess, I thought you had already told me your farewells.

I do not seem to understand wherefore you are so overly infuriated, for I was merely trying to help. Prithee, do not have me be the subject of your quicksilver temperament. If you were looking upon the bright side of what has just betided, at least when one comes to the realisation that he has yet a long way to amelior
