to pull something off

Hello,
Would it be okay to use "pull off" in the context below:
My PC broke and I had absolutely no idea what to do. After going through a nerve-wracking process of trial and error I managed to fix it. Honestly, I don't know how I pulled that/it off."? I wouldn't say it's flat out wrong, but I've heard people use it. I am afraid I might have done so as well. Emotion: sad
