To post something

Hello,
Are there more natural ways to say these?

If I post a card next week, will it be arrive by Christmas?
By when should I post a package to make it before Christmas?

Thank you!

I would be much more likely to say "mail a card/package" -- even if you go to the "post office" to do so.
