To perform a job?

Dear Users,

I'm wondering if the word perform collocates well with job/work. Is it acceptable to say: Do you think performing the job of a customer service representative is a hard task?

Thank you

Not the best. The collocation is 'perform a task'. I suggest just 'doing the job' as more native.
