To or with?

What's the difference b/w those two sentences?

1) What is your connection to Dimitri?

2) What is your connection with Dimitri?

Thanks.

I would use "with" in situations like this. You may catch the train that connects to Albany at the last station in NYC. Two things connect with ; two things are connected to each other by something inbetween.
