To or For here?

Sentence: Playing with professional is injurious to/for bankroll.

Question: In the sentence above what should come with the word injurious "to" or "for"? Please kindly tell with reasons as "for" is sounding natural to me but I'm not so sure. Sentence was said to a someone in a jesting way...

Thanks
