Therefore, to my horror, this pseudo-reductive thinking, by which I would in my mind mistakenly confuse ‘quantity’ with ‘quality’, compounded by an attitude of procrastination and disinterest, was key in ensuring my inevitable underachievement in the forthcoming examination.
