to my home

Good evening.

We don't usually use the preposition 'to' before the word 'home'.

What about the following sentence?

'Do you want to come to my home?'

Is it acceptable?

Is it enough to have a possessive adjective between 'to' and 'home' to make the sentence correct?

Thank you

Thank you for your reply.

So:

- it is correct to say 'Do you want to come to my home';

- we don't normally use 'to' before 'home'.

Is that true?

Thank you.
