To my ear or to my ears?

Is it "to my ear" or "to my ears"?

For instance, should I say/write, "The sentence sounds good to my ears" or "The sentence sounds good to my ear"?

Thank you

to my ear You're referring to your sense of hearing, not to the projections on the sides of your head! Ellen has a good ear for music. She should learn to play an instrument.
