To move your car forward suddenly and unexpectedly

Hi

[When someone suddenly (and inconsiderably) moves his car forward on a congested road...]

When vehicles inch forward on a very congested road, some drivers quickly race to get in between two slowly moving cars, etc. If translated from my language, the phrase would be (loosely) "get his car stuck in between".

I want to know if there is any phrase in English that describes this inconsiderate action. Do you find this sentence natural?

See how he stuck his car right in front of us.

Thanks,

Tom

Just a sudden moving ahead is a lurch. To lurch forward.
