Mister Micawber,
Even though you never answer me anymore, I would like to tell you that in one of my posts you told me to use 'introduce' instead of 'ask'.
The sentence was:
'The question word
where asks questions about place or location'.
You said better, '... where
introduces questions about place or location'.
At first I didn't see the whole profit of the change.
Now I do!
The word 'introduces' can be used in many different ways where ask(s) is impossible to be used.
For example:
The following question words can be used to introduce a noun clause: when, where, why, how, etc.Reported speech can be introduced by a lot of different verbs ...Why am I saying it? Just because, the students get used to this word, and I can use it in many different explanations. Today I did it in another one.
Anyway, above all I wanted to thank you, that's all, and of course thank all the teachers that help me a lot in this forum: CalifJim, Clive, Avangi, Cool Breeze, vsuresh, etc. Long life for all of you.
Have a nice day.TS
PS. Life is much easier when we smile.
