Which verb would sound better in:
A: What is GFH? Does it say/mean anything to you?
B: No.
I think I'd go with "mean" probably because I hear it most often.

Thank you, Clive. I tend to use every day words which is probably rather bad.

But using a lot of uncommon words in your everyday English will make it sound odd.
