To make tidy

Hello everybody!

I asked the maid to make the bedroom tidy.

Would you suggest a verb that suits the context and means "to make a room tidy"?

Thank you!

Hi,
You can use the verb tidy (up):
example: Tidy (up) your room!

Hey, Utman. There are plenty: " to [clean, clean up, tidy a room, do a room, to fix a room (if there a big mess), bring a room to normal state, put a room in order, get it cleaned]".

Also, "straighten up" the room.

There's "red," as in "red up." I personally have only read this one in books; I've never heard it.

I've seen it as "redd up." Never heard it used, though.
