Does "He's never cleaned fish in his life. The sight of blood makes him sick." sound odd to you? The second sentence works for me, but some people think it sounds a little odd. What do you think?

Thank you, Jay. Can we also say "...makes him feel sick"? "Feel" is probably unnecessary, but it probably doesn't change the meaning.
