To look and dress 'trampy'

Is 'trampy' used as a slang word here? Does 'trampy' mean 'like a hooker'?

I suspect the answer to the forst question is "yes" though that is a bit beyond me. The answer to the second question is close. It doesn't need to mean "hooker" but a style of dress that is sexually loose in nature.

I think that the original meaning was closer to being like a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vagrant or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itinerant. But, as Tyx points out, it often means promiscuous.
