Aren't these sentences wrong?
"Somebody shot her right in front of me," Laura said "She's laying on the floor. I think she was shot in the head or something."
He asked me what i'd done and I said, "All I did was move out of her way."
Einstein spoke. "That don't explain why she's laying on the floor."
To lay is a transitive verb meaning to place (put) something onto a surface.
But those examples were written by native speakers I found them as I searched laying on the floor on Google books.
I'm confused
