Vocabulary

to leave the road

Hello,
Do these sentences make sense?
- The car went off the road and plunged into a ravine.
- The car careered off the road and plunged into a ravine.
- The car left the road and plunged into a ravine.

I am not sure whether a can could go off a road/etc. If they are all bad, what would you suggest?
Thank you

Thanks. Would "leave" suggest to you that the driver did it purposely or that he was probably attempting to commit suicide?

Wonder no more. A can (or a car) can go off a road. You can be sure of it.
