0 They are both correct, but from the viewpoint of style, I would say that the first structure is too formal for the idea expressed. I think of the infinitive subject as a device for expressing more profound ideas.02br

0 I think it just creates confusion. I actually think the first one makes more sense, but "to" can be construed as "in order to". To learn English, you have to practice. So, you don't hear the first used as often. 0-
