to introduce them each item of new products on the shelf and meanwhile

In order to influence what his potential customers wanted to buy in the 3-C electronic shopping mall, the salesman had to introduce them each item of new products on the shelf and meanwhile explain how to use it in every detail.

Is the above sample well composed? If not, how would you reword it, especially the underlined parts? Thanks.

Hi Angliholic No doubt there will be other suggestions but I would say: In order to influence his potential customers' decisions as to what they were going to buy in the 3-C electronic shopping mall, the salesman had to introduce to them all the new products he had in his store and also to explain to them in detail how to use them. Introduce can have an object : Could you introduce me to your wife? It is used incorrectly in your sentence, though, since the sentence goes on and there is no to.

  • I find in every detail home-made English.
  • Meanwhile is also wrong in this context.

AngliholicTo be clear, I think "meanwhile" in the context is meant to refer to "at the same time" though I didn't beget it in the first place. Then, doesn't it work with the wording? I presume it does the trick. If you think otherwise, could you come up with a reason or two? Thanks.
Hi Angliholic
