Hello,
Can we say: "Could you inform me how much the delivery of the furniture would cost?"? Can "inform" be followed by "how"?

No; it is more natural. 'Inform' is rather stilted there.

Not directly. As in your sentence, it requires an intervening element, 'me' in this case.

inform, tell, ask, and show all have the same property, namely, that they take any indirect question as a complement.
