Grammar

To-infinitive expressing a result

1. We went to a concentration camp, whereupon weak people died of several diseases.
2. We went to a concentration camp, weak people to die of several diseases.
3. We went to a concentration camp, for weak people to die of several diseases.

Can I rephrase #1 expressing a result into #2 or #3 using to-infinitive without meaning change.
Thank you in advance for your help.
