To infinitive

"Human beings have been seeking new ways to cure illness and look after the sick for thousands of years

Do you think I need to put "to" before the verb look (meaning to cure... and to look after) to make it more clear since the paragraph can be understood as have been seeking.... and looking for with the condition where i am allowed to mean it as the phrase "have been looking" for
