Hello,
If someone was swinging a stick around and accidentally hit someone, which sentence would sound better: "What are you doing, you idiot?! You hit me on the leg/You hit my leg!"?

Thank you. A few months ago I was told that only "Hit someone on the leg/head/etc" was acceptable. Does this construction make the sentence sound more deliberate?
