He got a job to his liking.

This is fine. It's a little more common with the being verb: The job is / was / was not to his liking. I can't seem to find a job [which is] to my liking.

This is fine.

It's a little more common with the being verb:

The job is / was / was not to his liking.

I can't seem to find a job [which is] to my liking.
