Dear Members, may I ask you a question, please.
Given sentence: ... The two of them looked at each other, not knowing whether to smile or weep and each recounted to the other what had happened to him ...
Question: What did the two friends tell each other?
Ans: The two friends told each other what had happened to him/them.
I would like to know which word I should choose , him or them accordingly.
