To help me settle an argument...

Is "Stop." a complete sentence? I say it is, but my dad's hoosier friend says it isn't.

A sentence at its simplest still requires a subject, verb and object. On this basis, no, it is not a sentence.

But for the sentence, "Stop." the subject is implied, am I correct?
And, an object is not required for a complete sentence.

On doing my homework, the answer is in fact yes, "Stop." is a simple sentence.
