Vocabulary

to have something on/with you

Hello,
I usually say and hear: "Have you got your phone/wallet/etc on you", but never with you. Is it unnatural to use "with"? I think it might be okay to use it, but it would probably imply that the person's phone is in a bag, backpack, etc. It's not "on him/her". What do you think?

With you sounds perfectly natural to me. Your analysis seems logical to me, but I think "on" could be used even if it's in a bag.
