'to have been' or 'for being'?(Q) URGENT ANSWER(CJ not allowed to answer)

Which is correct?

Congratulations to American Nation to have been awarded a much-needed win to bring the smile on their faces.

OR

Congratulations to American Nation for being awarded a much-needed win to bring the smile on their faces.

Scenario was:
American team won the match, and I want to congratulate the American.

P.S. Please explain me in grammatical terms. I shall be very thankful to you. Emotion: Emotion: smile

There are a lot of problems here.

"American Nation" sounds like the name of a team. I would never have guess you meant the team representing the USA.
You make it sound like the judges awarded the game to them so they would smile.

Congratulations to the American team on your win. I hope this put smiles on your faces.

I want to join the two sentences.
1) Congratulations to XYZ person.
(Why? Because,)
2) ABC team(to whom XYZ was supporting) won the match that brought a smile on their(his/her) face.
