To have been?

Hi! everyone Could you tell me which sentence is good here.
(A player has been given the title "invincible" a month ago.He played a match yesterday, in which he gave another best performance ) Now I say this about him"His yesterdays performance showed that he was an apt person to be given this title" or "to have been given"(which one is right? And In which condition I can say "To have been given"?)
Can I say this in present "His performances show that he is an apt person to have been given this title"
Is this right, Can I write this(to have been given) like this?
Thanks!

silak12 A player has been was given the title "invincible" a month ago . No present perfect with a specific time reference. silak12 His yesterdays performance yesterday showed that Both "his" and "yesterday's" are determiners.

  • silak12 A player has been was given the title "invincible" a month ago .
  • No present perfect with a specific time reference.
  • silak12 His yesterdays performance yesterday showed that Both "his" and "yesterday's" are determiners.
  • You can't have two determiners in a row like that.
  • silak12 he was an apt person [to be given / to have been given] this title "apt" is the wrong word, so both versions are unidiomatic.

Hi! Sir Thanks for answering.
What do you think about this one? "The performances he gives these days show that it is right to have given him this title"
Is it right?

Or this one Is it right? He was a right man to be given this title" Or What difference do these two( to be given and To have been given) make in the meaning of sentences?

silak12to be given and To have been given
