Hi! everyone Could you tell me which sentence is good here.
(A player has been given the title "invincible" a month ago.He played a match yesterday, in which he gave another best performance ) Now I say this about him"His yesterdays performance showed that he was an apt person to be given this title" or "to have been given"(which one is right? And In which condition I can say "To have been given"?)
Can I say this in present "His performances show that he is an apt person to have been given this title"
Is this right, Can I write this(to have been given) like this?
