To give the possibility-to allow-to permit

Hello dear teachers,

I need your qualified help with these sentences:

1."This situation gives the possibility to make a better price"

2. "This situation doesn´t allow us to make a better price"

3. "This situation doesn´t permit us to make a better price

I am not sure that sentence 1 is correct, since I translated directly from Italian.

Thank you for replying

Pamela

Hi Mister Micawber,

thank you.
By reading your correction I understand that I cannot use verb "to make" when talking about prices, the correct one is "to offer". The rest is clear, you don´t say "to give the possibility" but "to make it possible".

Thank you

Pamela
