Dear teachers
I am confused when using 'to' or 'for' in sentences.
While reading Bible, for example, there is a sentence I don't know why using 'sweet to' and 'healthy for'.
The sentence is below.
"Kind words are like honey - sweet to the soul and healthy for the body."
Thanks in advance.

Not many dictionaries will even try to cover them all. The two major ones I just looked at online do not have this sense of the word.
Things are healthy for you because they are good for you. "For" has a thousand uses.
