To follow up on earlier post

Hi, i've posted something similar a few days ago and just wants to be clear.

You've been through a lot. I know you say you're doing better, but I think anyone would understand if you weren't fine.

I was told to write "looking/feeling well" instead of "fine." I just thought "fine" could be interchangeable with "well" sometimes, but is this not one of the times?

If not, could "well" be on its own or should it be "feeling well"?
