to fingertips

Does this make any sense? Would get the idea? Can you say 'all the way to fingertips' or something like that?
These dancers are so good they know what they are doing all the way to their fingertips.

Thanks

I think that "These dancers know what they are doing all the way to their fingertips" is OK. " in this case because knowing what you are doing all the way to your fingertips does not seem enough of an exceptional case. Different people may have different opinions.
