Vocabulary

to do something inconspicuously

Hello,
As far as I know "conspicuous" means easy to see, noticeable. Would it sound natural in a gaming context: "How did I get killed? That guy shot me very inconspicuously"? I had never heard it used in such contexts before. Basically the speaker couldn't see the person who shot his character and accused hid of hacking. I wouldn't use "inconspicuously" here, but that's just me.

Thank you.

Yes, the player who killed him was hidden. ( I don't know where) I think he shot him through a very thin wall and my pal thought he was cheating.

Me. too.

'That guy shot me clandestinely' (?). That still sounds a bit odd; I think you have to spell it out: 'That guy shot me unfairly from in hiding.'
